On the 11th of June 2021, three Sydneysiders were witness to what they believe to have been an alien abduction. When an amateur filmmaker sets out to investigate the sighting, she finds the very person the trio believe to have been abducted is alive and well.
Only, something's not quite right. As filmmaker Jen embroils herself in the world of the bored, bitter and frustrated thirty-something year olds, it is clear that something strange has indeed happened in Sydney. And it's not yet over.
Through found-footage and interviews that Jen has left behind, we follow a story of hope in the face of mundanity.
